Now I know what that puff of white smoke was in the distance - the St. Louis Cardinals elected a new mod. Congrats **SkipMagic** on being selected to fill **Coldfire** ’s wooden clogs. And isn’t it traditional that all those who congratulate a new mod get a free year subscription to the SDMB and a toaster? And **Coldfire** , enjoy your retirement. I hear the mods retirement home in Miami has free pie. ---

Dmark, you seem to be confusing a tv show with reality. It’s perfectly true that people who congradulate a new mod get a free year subscription to the SDMB 😛 , but the toaster thing isn’t. It was an urban myth that came from an episode of Ellen. It states that for every heterosexual you convert to the other tream, you get a free toaster.
