Well, I survived surgery and I’m home and checking in before I lay down for a while. It went well and they were able to leave me the left ovary so I don’t go into early menopause. I pretty sore and have a bit of bruising and I think I over did it yesterday running up and down the stairs right after getting home from the hospital. I’m not getting too much help really. And thanks to the Percocet I’m going to take a little nap right now. Just wanted to update everyone and let them know I was still alive and breathing. Hurting but around. ---

Don’t know you Kricket, but glad you’re home! One year and three surgeries later I had a very close friendship with Percocet. I’ll keep good thoughts that you get the help that you need around the house! ---

I hope you recover soon, **Kricket** , and that you’re not like me and get a tummy upset from Percocet – these days post-surgery, Vicodin is my friend. 😃 Take care of yourself, and ask for as much help as you can! ---

Sleeping not going so well even with the meds. I’m only getting a couple of hours at a time and it has been fitfull and nightmarish for some reason. Just got in trouble with a friend of mine because he heard me doing dishes while he was on the phone with me checking up on me. I would just rather do them myself then listen to my husband yell at my oldest to do them. The heathens are staying pretty close to my side to watch over me but they don’t seem to understand that the slightest move of a little heathen butt cheek makes the water bed move and that is not really a good thing right now. But at least I know that they care about me, you guys care about me and that I have a few close friends in my area that care about me, and that Beagle Dave cares enough to keep me well medicated. I really wish I could express how much you guys mean to me. You have all been here through thick and thin, through goofy and serious. And Bodypoet, I really appreciate your offer to come to your area for a while. I’ve got a friend here that is ready to kidnap me and tie me to a bed to make sure that I stay down and get some rest. ---

My mother had nightmares from the percocet. I guess that’s a side effect. Maybe you guys can paper plate a lot of stuff for a week or so to cut down on the dishes? Good luck and I hope you get some rest. ---
