When I got home, I e-mailed the state DOT and reported it. Don’t know if anything will happen (he may have a legitimate reason for it) but it’s worth looking into. In the past, I heard about a plate that said “POONTANG” and another that said “ZYKLON B.” ---

It may legitimately be someone’s name, but **[if Saskatchewan can prevent Dave Assman](https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/dave-assman-sgi-vanity-licence-plate-1.5017377)** from getting an “ASSMAN” license plate, then it should even more emphatically apply here. I don’t imagine too many people would want to go around with the “Mengele” moniker and would have changed it long ago, let alone advertise it on a license plate, although “Mengel” and “Mengels” are still quite common surnames. Ontario tries to prevent this sort of crap by requiring every application for a personalized license plate to “please explain what this means to you”. ---

The screaming and swearing was loud, but his bright red face was even more fun to watch, so I turned my face so he could see me and said “LOSER”!!! He turned purple and screamed even louder. If he doesn’t get his blood pressure under control he’s going to have a stroke. ---
