Breakfast was good, but disappointing. I was expecting a buffet, based on the photos of eggs Benedict, French toast, and bloody Marys in the email. Those were just things on their breakfast menu. I had a ‘small’ NY steak, rare, with two over-easy eggs, and I ate about half of the hashbrowns. I gave Mrs. L.A. my toast. As I said, it was good; but I was in the mood for a buffet. ---

I’m awake because my upstairs neighbors are moving furniture and vacuuming. At 1:30 a.m… I don’t know how anyone could be this clueless/thoughtless. Earlier today, their TV was on so loud, I could hear every word the announcer was saying. I’ve already asked them to turn down their TV/music late at night, which they’ve done. I hate to be “that neighbor,” the one who complains to the manager that they’re violating the quiet time rules. Not sure what to do. ---
