Supper will be what the lil’wrekker can cook (not much: ramen, pizza or PBJ) Hamza made some hummus earlier. It was tasty. Too salty for me. I ate a little, tho. My pain isn’t bad if I keep still. Bending hurts. My arm hurts worse than my side. I really despise the PICC line. I’ll be glad to get rid of that. DIL got in from Florida this afternoon. Havn’t seen her or the grandwreks yet. I imagine they’re worn out. ---

By the way, if it makes the cheese horde feel better, I did actually get tempted into buying some local smoked brie at the vegetable shop. They have a cheese fridge as well. Remember that fish florentine I made a couple of weeks ago? And that I’m not a fan of cod, except for fish’n’chips? (It’s good with tilapia, and next time I’ll try halibut.) Well, I had two pieces of cod in the freezer. So tonight I made fish’n’chips. I used Newcastle Brown Ale in the batter, and drank the other half of the bottle. I had two bottles of Guinness with dinner. ---

Howdy Y’all! We took care of stuff around da cave today and prepped foods for tomorrow. The pound cake (he requested that instead of the cake I was gonna get from Sam’s) got baked as well. We et pizza and are now chillin’. We shall both be asleep by midnight guaranteed. Also, we are either in a war zone or the fireworks have started. Happy **Butterversary**! I could get all pedantic and mention the fact that 2020 is the _end_ of the second decade, not the start of the third decade, but I won’t. I have manners and couth. ---

Well, I’m tired (Cooper tires in this case). Five hours to 2020 here but doubt I’ll make it, haven’t made an effort to be up and out since 2000 didn’t end in an apocalypse. Think I’ve found a place to take most of my old furniture, now just need to make the decision about painting and get the schedule into place. Looks like a couple weeks in hotels, but I can manage that. Starting to figure out the odds and ends I need beyond what I’ve bought (new ottoman? Breakfast nook table and chairs?). I did have Mac-n-Cheese for dinner tonight, so the Cheese brigade can stand down now… I was going to make a rude joke, **Butters** , but I won’t mention that you probably saw wood on your wedding night before it was delivered to the house…oops. All y’all take care and I’ll catch up with you in 2020. ---

At least one species of tilapia are sold in the aquarium trade. I presume they are popular because they clean up after themselves. ---
