Also, a new book in the Outlander series has an actual release date. _Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone_ comes out on November 23. It’s been 7 years since the last book and I believe she is planning one more after this. I would be another 7 years until that is released.
Anyway, looking forward to the new season and my wife is looking forward to the show and reading the new book.

We have to wait until the library gets DVDs, since we don’t get STARZ ☹ but nice to know it’s in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the book, oh yeah… been too long since that _Echo in the Bone_ volume…

It is on Netflix as well, though not “live” as it is. Most libraries should certainly have the blu-rays of the whole show up to this point, though.

The premiere was the other night and it was 80 minutes long, kind of a double episode. It was excellent and I’m looking forward to the new season. Anyone else watch?

This season has been “life on Fraser’s Ridge” and I’ve been fine with that. I guess some people would be disappointed how little there is in terms of big story right now, but I’m loving this season.

(I remember when these threads would have dozens of posts hours after a new episode dropped…)
I’m enjoying the season so far. It’s been a bit slow, plot-wise, but it looks like some interesting items setting up for the last 2 (?) episodes for this season. My wife has read all the books and she was very reluctant to watch this season because she’s not a fan of the plotline with the Christies, but the last two episodes she’s been ready to watch right away.

Oh, my wife and I always laugh at any detailed shots of the house. They built it, didn’t they? Come on, it would be way crappier than that.
