The A-Team
*Intro
Bad guys (corrupt cops/evil businessmen/ranchers/etc) show up and terrorize a farm/small business/school/small town. The A-Team is contacted by the owners beautiful daughter, who falls for Face. They spring Murdoch out of the mental hospital, BA Scowls, and Hannibal grins and chomps his cigar. Of course they have to fly to get there. BA expresses his horror of flying, and Murdoch tricks him into drinking the knockout juice. Those insane people are so wacky! Usually there is a military chase scene where that General (Decker?) shows up and gives chase but is beaten. Sometimes this chase is between Bad Guy Fights #1 and #2 instead.
*Bad Guy Fight #1
The bad guys show up for some random terrorizin’. The A-Team, waiting in hiding, pops out and surprises them. Despite firing enough rounds to depopulate a small country, no one is hurt (although a few of the baddies will be clutching arms and legs as they hightail it out of Dodge). The A-Team and shopkeeper/villagers/farmers celebrate, but Hannibal knows they’ll be back.
*The Team Prepares
Lots of cuts to the Team building some crazy contraption, like a lightweight dune buggy equipped from pipes, or a tank made out of tin cans, from of parts they find in a barn. Contraption will be equipped with machine guns and have a makeshift cannon that fires smoke bombs. The shopkeep/villagers/farmers are also shown arming themselves thanks to the A-Team’s clever plans!
*Bad Guy Fight #2
This time ALL the bad guys show up, but everyone is ready to kick ass and fight back. This time they expend enough ammo to take over a medium sized country by force, but again, no one is harmed. The A-Team is just that good! They defeat the bad guys and earn the eternal goodwill of the shopkeeper/farmers/villagers.
*End/Final Chase
The bad guys are left tied up or otherwise incapacated, looking humiliated and helpless as Decker and the Military show up. But the A-Team has escaped on to save another shop/farm/village another day! Why can’t that damn military just leave them alone?!! They’re helping people!
With a few small substitutions, this formula would work for the Dukes of Hazzard, CHiPs, and a few others as well…
