We will be rolling out Outlook 2002 to our users in the near future, and I want to be able to customize the Welcome message that is automatically sent to the INBOX.

In Outlook2000, this message was located:

c:\program files\microsoft office\microsoft\message.msg

this path doesn’t work for 2002, and I can’t find any doco on the web or from others on how to create a custom welcome msg for 2002.

Anybody got any insights?

thanks,
rubes

[This KB article](http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289946) states that the welcome message was removed in Outlook 2002. You may be out of luck.
