# Outlook Express problem

I messed around a bit with the Address Book and then copied it back to the folder where it was. Well, now, in OE, in the contacts panel no names appear, like the address book is empty but if I click on the icon in the toolbar, the address book opens correctly with all the names in it. What is the matter? How can I fix it?

Try clicking View\>Layout, and put a check in the box that says Contacts.

I don’t think that’s it, **riblet** , unless I’m misreading the OP. I think **sailor** can _see_ the Contacts pane, but is saying it is empty. FWIW, I found a reference to this same problem on [This message board](http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win95/t1049426851), but thus far no one has replied to it.
