# Outrage over receipt checking!?

This. The membership contract doesn’t grant them any extra authority to pin you to the ground and search you, no matter what it might say. If you are in breach of that contract (by refusing to grant your consent to a search of all your body cavities and/or refusing to show them your receipt), their only recourse is to terminate the membership contract, meaning you won’t be allowed to shop there again.
