_Over_-moderated? In the six months I’ve been here, I’ve averaged about seven posts a day, which is reasonably prolific. Admittedly I’m not a particularly controversial poster, but during that time I’ve been mildly reprimanded twice {both times for stupid drive-bys in the wrong forums}, had one thread moved {and that was after a mod asked if I’d _like_ to have it moved}, and had an admin get pissy back after I got pissy at him {we both apologised}. This is hardly being crushed under the iron heel of despotism. The reasons for why “Poster X has been banned” threads in ATMB have already been discussed, but it’s instructive to view the latest head on the wall to see just how repeatedly stupid and obnoxious you can be and still get cut slack before you’re actually banned. {Checks watch anxiously} Not like **catsix** to be late for one of these threads. ---

I, too, am sick of over-moderation. Just the other day, my friend and I were at a party, and he had a couple of beers. What the hell? I can respect people who don’t drink. But if you’re going to do, don’t give me any of that pansy half-assed moderation shit. I want to see you get so shitfaced you wake up naked in the middle of the street with unexplained stab wounds. And this guy is like this about everything! We were talking about politics the other day, and he actually said, get this, “While I disagree with you, you do raise some excellent points that I’ll need to consider.” The nerve! Being moderate like that, right in front of me! Fuck that noise. I’m not hanging out with that guy any more. In fact, I hate him. He’s scum. Sure, we’ve been buddies since 2nd grade, but next time I see him, I’m giving him the beat down of his life. Over-moderate motherfucker. ---

_Just_, I particularly like how you have to pay to be on here, but the hamsters eat every other fucking post you make. It’s super-duper. I never had a problem paying to be on here, really. I like this board. But, I’ve noticed time and again, that anytime someone criticizes the way things are run, they get piled on, insulted, etc. You have reasonable points, and I don’t think I’m the only one who agrees with a lot of what you said. ---

The only part of the OP that I agree with is wishing mods wouldn’t close threads solely because they feel the subject has run its course and/or is getting off-topic. I’d prefer they didn’t do this. Everything else in the OP is a bunch of crap. ---

Plus it shows just what lengths you’re willing to go to in order to demonstrate the proper way to enjoy life’s opportunities for excess.
