I could get behind a pitting of these idiots (and have done so in the past, whether here or in MPSIMS, I can’t recall). But it ain’t about the strollers. It’s about morons with overblown senses of entitlement.

Understood. What I was responding to was the poster I quoted who, while directing her ire at the OP, seems to have the attitude that if people don’t have cat-like reflexes it’s their fault when mowed down by a stroller. It’s that kind of general obliviousness to anyone other than themselves that I was replying to.
[QUOTE=C3]
The incident that valleyofthedolls is talking about induced outrage because the intial reports were saying that the bookstore in question banned all strollers on their property. I think when the facts came out (they were just requiring them to be parked in a specific location), the hullabaloo died down.

If we are referring to the same incident, then no, at least not according to what I read and was told. While some people did believe there was a complete ban, the majority of the sturm und drag was directed at being asked to park strollers in one area. How long the hullabaloo lasted I don’t know. That there was a hullabaloo, in the first place, is what I find unbelievable.
