You know that involuntary inhale just before a ninja sneeze? I just snorted imported wasabi powder. \*\*\*Fucking ouch \*\*\* On the plus side, not only are my sinuses as clear as they have been in over a year, the voluminous neti potting does seem to have tamed the pain. But - just fucking OUCH. ---

For treating injudicious applications of hot substances, or for having too much in the mouth, we use oil ot oil-containing liquids (since the active ingredients in that hot stuff are generally in oil already, and oil repels water). If you get too much hot stuff in the mouth, for instance, milk is supposed to be much better than water. You might try using some oil on your inflamed nasal surfaces. I suspect using oil in your Neti Pot isn’t a good idea, though. ---

Ouch! That’s worse than what I did last week. I was rinsing with Listerine and coughed, but instead of spitting it everywhere, I choke/swallowed a full mouth full. I had mouthwash shooting out of my nose! Burned but my breath sure was fresh. ---

On a dare I had my brother snort a big line of wasabi powder. I have video of it, but it wasn’t all that great. I thought he’d flip out, but he didn’t. Although he did have nasty greenish snot go everywhere. It was funny, but not the you tube viral sensation I hoped it would be.
