Three days ago, my eye started itching. Two days ago, it started hurting Night before last it hurt bad enough that it interrupted my sleep. Yesterday I went to the doctor, and he told me I have a stye. I’ve not been in this much pain in several years. It hurts so much I’m not able to sleep more than an hour or two stretched over six hours. It feels like someone has poked their finger into my eye and is just leaving the finger there, wrapped in sandpaper. OW OW OW! :mad: ---

Not that funny) The eye drops make it hurt more temporarilly, but it’s getting better. I no longer want to pry my eye out with a spoon. I thank you all for well-wishes. ---

I take it it’s on the inside of your eyelid? My husband had one last Friday that was on the bottom eyelid right on the edge. Luckily it came to a head, so he put a hot compress on it and . . . POP! A saline rinse and all back to normal. Hope you feel better, but the eye patch would be quite funny for you. 😃
