# Own(ed) a diesel car?  A moment of your time please.

My dad had a diesel Mercedes for awhile–between 1987-1991 or so.

He passed a station with diesel on the way to and from work, so he just stopped and filled up when he hit around 1/4 tank or so.

We never had a problem finding diesel stations.
