Weird, eh? Are you sure that’s the actual law? I always thought it was illegal to own a bullet proof vest and a few weeks ago (as part of a bigger discussion), I looked it up. Turns out, in Wisconsin, it’s legal to own a bullet proof vest, but if you have one on while committing a crime it’ll add the word "Aggravated’ to the beginning of whatever you did. Actually, I don’t think that’s exactly how it works. A cop relative of mine looked at the code and explained it to me. It basically takes what you did and steps it up to the next level. If you walk into a store and shoot someone, it’s hard to prove you were simply defending yourself when you oddly prepared for the attack. Looking at Wisconsin laws on silencers, unless you’re a LEO or in the armed forces, you probably shouldn’t have one in your possession. ---
