Owning their props

If I remember correctly, when Firefly ended Joss Whedon was given the “call everyone back” button used in “Out of Gas” by Alan Tudyk, so that if he got the series started again he could reconvene the crew.

From Wedding Crashers - The painting of Jeremy (Vince Vaughn) that Todd Cleary (‘Keir O’Donnell’ ) creates and gives to Jeremy was kept by Vaughn after filming.

As well as the one he rode in “Hidalgo.”

Not only does Schneider own a General Lee, he has one with a Viper engine shoehorned under the hood.

That’s one Duke boy you won’t be catching.

I’ve been on the outside deck overlooking the Hollywood hills and the private tennis court at Charleton Heston’s house, and he had movie posters, a small statue of him as some western character (I’m guessing based on “The Mountain Men”), and the painting of him as Cardinal Richelieu that must have been used in “The Three Musketeers” and “The Four Musketeers”. As you say, his face is on it, so how would you ever use it again? Plus, it’s a kick to have a painting of yourself in red robes life sized.

As does Ewan McGregor, although his doesn’t say “BAMF” on it.

IIRC, I think most of the actors were permitted to keep their lightsabers.

Does it say “Choose Life”?

When the TV series* Cheers* ended I heard that the cast members fought over who got to keep what odds and ends from the bar set.

Roy Williams, the big Moosketeer from The Mickey Mouse Club was also buried wearing his Mickey Mouse club ears and shirt.

Bela Lugosi wore at least a half dozen different “Dracula” capes in his career, including two screen portrayals of Dracula, two other screen vampires, one phony vampire, and numerous stage portrayals of Dracula. Which cape he was buried in is anybody’s guess.
