There is one restaurant in Oxnard that is worth the drive from Santa Barbara for me, Swan Korean BBQ. This is outstanding and very authentic Korean food. It’s on Oxnard Blvd maybe four blocks off of the 101 on the ocean side. **KidScruffy** , are you a Barbarian? If so, there are two others besides you and me. ---

Welcome to the Real World! Glad you made it safely. You sound like you are adapting nicely. The nice things are north, so jaunt up to Santa Barbara sometime. A good juicer is essential. Get one that can handle a big load, and freeze what you can’t drink right away. Ice cubes made of juice store in bags easily, and are great additions to tea, cocktails, etc. ---

Ask around and find out if the cheap second-run theater is still in Oxnard. It was a couple years ago, but I can’t seem to find it through Yahoo now. ---
