# P.1/P.38 holster belt adapter

I have a West German police holster [like this one](https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/catalog/wal-4101_t3_756_detail.jpg). As you can see in the picture, it doesn’t go onto a belt.

[This image](https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/productcart/pc/catalog/P1.hol.2.JPG) shows and adapter for an ALICE belt.

Am I correct in assuming that the holes in the adapter fit into the top ‘hooks’ on the holster, and that the ‘flap’ on the holster folds over the bottom ‘hooks’ through that go through the bottom holes in the adapter?
