Seattle Scot here as well. Sort of. Third generation.

I’ve been to the Highland Games a couple times. Right next to the pickle factory. Cool stuff, if heavily commercialized. Everyone wants to sell you a piece of your clan tartan. Funny thing is, they all seem to be a different pattern.

Leaving L.A. on the 8th, and I’ll be on the midnight flight to B’ham. Hanging out on the 9th. Shooting on the 10th. Victoria, B.C. on the 11th/12th, and back to Hell-A Monday afternoon.

We’re shooting there because that’s where he lives. We did most of it last September, but we need another scene. It’s pretty wacky. Sort of a “science-experiment-goes-awry” thing with comedic characters (“Captain Happy”, whose head is a big “smiley face”), conspiracies, and a seven-foot-tall black robot. Hahahaha!

I love B’ham too. Not too big, nice weather, neat buildings, there’s a cute waitress at Arlis’s diner (though I’ve never talked to her), close to Vancouver, B.C., _The Pickford_… I’m lobbying to get my desk moved to our Bothel office, and if I’m successful I’ll have to live near there; but I really like B’ham. (Kinda far from Hoquiam though… I have a female friend there.) If I’m not successful relocating my desk, I’m thinking of just quitting. My best **fiend** said I could roommate with him in B’ham.
