# Page inaccessible via notifications menu

I’ve found a consistent error in the site.

I can access this page “[Why are Italian-American names so badly mispronounced, even by their owners? - #170 by Dr.Drake](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/why-are-italian-american-names-so-badly-mispronounced-even-by-their-owners/295660/170)”, by directly going to the url. But if I try to access the same page through my notifications menu, the page tries to fetch, but never completes. The loading circle rotates forever, until I click on something else.
