Saw [this](http://www.expatica.com/main.asp?pad=32,39,&item_id=26) story linked from fark.

1. Are the descriptions of the toilet facilities in your fair country accurate?

2. Do you have a pee plate protecting your dwelling?

3. Do you really have “inspection shelfs” in yer toilets?

I’m not ClogBoy, but I thought I would comment on this question:

**Do you really have “inspection shelfs” in yer toilets?**  
We were staying for a week or so at a relatives house in California, which was at March AFB. Their toilet had a shelf that the water didn’t hit. It was an odd experience. I can’t tell you why this is, however.
