A guy I used to work with and I were always coming up with amusing things to pass time beyond the typical work we were faced with. One of them was to come up with neat names to be paged in the airport or wherever. Examples to get your juices flowing: Mr. Lacio; Mr. Phil Lacio Ms. Lingus; Ms. Connie Lingus Mr. Adore; Mr. Steve Adore Ms. Raboomdeeay; Ms. Tara Raboomdeeay (you get the idea) Later I have heard some of Garrison Keillor’s “writing credits” that include folks like: Sarah Bellum Amanda Reckonwith Let’s see who can get the prize for the wittiest. The dumbest. The most what-the-hell. Fire when ready… ---

Listen to Car Talk on NPR-they list a pile of staffers at the end of every show: Marge Inoverra (Statistician), Mike Heester (seat tester), Pikup Andropov (chauffeur), etc. Two gay scots I heard of: Ben Doon and Philip McCavity Have these two paged: Makollig Jezvahted and Levdaroum DeBahzted It sounds like: My colleague just farted, and left the room, the bastard That and similar were floating around the net-allegedly done at Heathrow & Gatwick. ---

The girl at the front desk of my grocery store actually fell for one and paged Mr. Hugh Jass. A stand up comic once talked about paging Mr. Schmidt. “Paging Mr. John Schmidt.” “Paging Mr. John Jacob Schmidt.” “Paging Mr. John Jacob Jinkleheimer Schmidt.” Then both he and his friend show up and say, “Hey! that’s my name too!” ---
