# Pain in abdomen

Hmmm, IANAD but my dad had similar symptoms over a year ago. Diverticulosis. As his doctor told him, you can live with it if you make some diet changes, however, my dad’s got worse. They had to remove about 10 inches of the diseased colon. (No colostomy, thank jeebus) He is fine now and can eat whatever he wants.

Hopefully, it’s nothing serious at all. My guess is they’ll order either an colonoscopy. That’s what I went through last year, I had pain but also chronic diarrhea. Turned out to be GERD.
