Again, you need to start on a low dose, and then when the wooziness abates (should be gone within a week), increase it. Still doesn’t always work, but if you start on a high dose it’s pretty much guaranteed to make you loopy.

Superb advice, thank you. The Gabapentin were 300mg capsules.

I know you are correct here.
So easy to say, to complex to address.
I’m self-aware enough ( Hey, I’m a Doper !!! ) that I know this is an addictive issue.
Food for punishment, food for reward. Food for comfort, etc.
5 foot 10, 285 lbs.
To even see 200 again would be remarkable.
Those belly-injection-miracle-shots aren’t really to my liking, idea-wise.
Yes, the people in the commercials exist at the very far end of the bell curve.
It’s wicked pricey. When I can’t afford them anymore, I’ll gain back the weight and then some.

There must be another path.

All of this said, the Lumbar/ SI decay is directly connected to a violent spinal injury in September of 2000. After more than 20 years, payback’s a bitch. My gosh I wish I’d never gone up that ladder without someone footing it…the entire vector of my life would have shifted. Some for the better, some for the worse- so who can say? But pain-wise, it would have been lovely to have NOT broken my L-3 wide open.
