Disclaimer: I know I need to talk to doc, he is out of office for next three days. I’m taking norco 3xdaily or every six hours for extremely painful sciatica. I have an appt with surgeon in 5 days. If I take the norco at 6/12/6 I am completely bedridden till about 1pm. I’ve missed work because of this. Yesterday I had to go to work no excuse. I took one pill at 6am, another at 730 along with the other meds I’m on. That got me off the floor and able to get to work albeit slowly. I took third pill at 6 as usual. I have no gastro issues with it, do you think this is ok for the next five days just till the surgeon can see me and get things moving? ---

Basically you are following the doctors orders other than talking the second pill at 7:30 instead of 12? That doesn’t strike me as very dangerous. IANAD of course. ---

Fuck. This day has sucked. It apparent to me now that the norco is just not helping like it was. I thought on Friday that I had exacerbated my leg pain somehow but I think it’s just the meds having less of an effect. ---

Contact your doctor and ask. ---

Are you going from 7:30 a.m. all the way until six p.m. between your second and third doses? If so, that may be relevant to your loss of pain control. Just speculating.
