# painting nylon

i just got a nylon bag to carry my junk in, but it’s a bright blue. i want to make it black. i had previously tried to paint something that was vinyl, but, to my sorrow, it would never dry properly. then, i found that one had to use vinyl paint. i have a can of regular spray paint and a can of vinyl paint in my workstation, so, to paint nylon, can i use regular paint or do i have to use the vinyl paint?

no idea. don’t expect success whichever you use - nylon is quite slick - might try google “nylon dye”.

well, it’s not that big a deal. just had the paint and a desire to change the color.
