The Pakistanis have been bombing the hell out of their own people in NWFP, Balochistan and elsewhere, so it is hardly surprising that they would do it in Afghanistan. You want some Pakistani hilarity, hyperbole and hypocrisy? Here goes. These are either official quotes or stated by other pakis. I did not making these up - honest! “Pakistan has lost $1 trillion due to the war on terror.” “Pakistan made the US the sole superpower by single-handedly defeating another superpower, the USSR.” “We can easily destroy India; after all we defeated the mighty USSR.” “In Pakistan, Einsteins and Plancks are a dime a dozen and strewn about all over the country.” “One Pakistani Muslim can kill ten Indian Hindus in hand-to-hand combat.” “Pakistan is the most strategically located nation on earth.” ---

But the second would be mere hyperbole if it were stated during the hot part of the war in Afghanistan, in that it’s very strategically located next to Afghanistan and if Afghanistan is where most of the world’s current fighting is at, then it’s one of the contenders for most strategically located nation.
