# Palestinian celebration footage?

The rumor has started circulating here that the footage of Palestinian celebrating the bombing of the WTC shown on CNN is actually footage from 1991. The claim is that the footage is from a celebration of the invasion of Kuwait. There’s been some people throwing weight around on both sides, but both are rather short on support. Does anyone have any solid information either way? I could see either one being true, but I’d like some support…

Okay, new question, then…and more general. How are the news organizations interrelated? How many independent entities are doing reporting in a case like Palestine? How does that then filter down to smaller stations/newspapers/etc.?
