# Palestinian Motivations in the Middle East

One possible reason is that any international peacekeeping force would probably be under the direction of the U.N. The U.N., however, is famous for being very anti-Israel. That being said, I can understand why they wouldn’t want a U.N. headed peacekeeping force.
