Actually, **GaWd** , according to this [site](http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/terrorism/terrisrael-8.html), suicide bombings have been in sharp decline since 2002. After searching every page in that chronology for the word “suicide”, I have the following breakdown: 1949-1993: no suicide bombings. 1994: 4 (out of 42 terrorist attacks) 1995: 4 (out of 17 attacks) 1996: 4 (out of 15 attacks) 1997: 3 (out of 10 attacks) 1998-99: none 2000: 1 (out of 29 attacks, total 38 killed)\* 2001: 20 (out of 119 attacks, total 214 killed) 2002: 40 (out of 135 attacks, total 436 killed) 2003: 21 (out of 68 attacks, total 189 killed) 2004 (to 14 Mar): 4 (out of 8 attacks, total 40 killed) \*no attacks prior to 27 Sep 2000 and the beginning of the Al-Aqsa intifadeh. What are we to make of this? Firstly, suicide bombings never made up more than 30% (2004 excepted) of the attacks on Israelis (civilians _and_ soldiers) at any time since suicide bombings first began to be used as a tactic. Secondly, Palestinians are _not_ killing more people than ever; the bloody peak was in 2002 (and I wonder how many Palestinians were killed that year?) since which time the number of attacks and the number of Israeli casualties have decreased sharply. Your statement is demonstrably false. ---

It’s also interesting to consider, based on these numbers, how effective these organizations being vilified so much actually are at achieving their goal of “pushing Israel into the sea”. I mean, _really_. These huge, slavering, swarthy anti-Semitic devils have done… what? Killed several hundred people, both civilian and military, out of a current population of just under 7 million. Scared the living bejesus out of pretty much anybody in Israel who might have been sympathetic to their cause in the first place. Brought the US-backed military might of the state of Israel down on their people’s heads. They don’t really seem to be the threat to World Jewry you folks make them out to be, do they? I am by NO means seeking to belittle, denigrate, or otherwise disrespect the civilians killed in Palestinian terror attacks. The whole situation is a tragedy of epic proportions. But these numbers really serve to emphasize just how ineffective individual terror really is. **Gawd** - I’m not saying they’ve exercised commendable restraint. More than likely they’re incredibly worn out. ---

Wow, you’ve totally sold me, **Olent**. I hereby denounce my stand in favor of the Jewish homeland and take up the sword for the poor, downtrodden Palestinians in their valliant effort to effect a peaceful resolution. If there had been any fewer than **443 terrorist acts in the last 10 years** , I’m not sure I could’ve come on board. The righteous Palestinians have only **murdered 917 civilians in terrorist attacks in the past 4 years** (Oops, make that **921+a fetus** ). That’s not nearly enough to win this war against those evil, evil Jews. What could I have _possibly_ been thinking? :smack: :rolleyes: :mad: ---

How many times have IDF soldiers detonated themselves inside Mosques or restaurants? ---
