Palin apparently has learned that there are actual provisions for advanced care planning in HR 3200, having formerly believe she was just making stuff up to disgrace all our dead men and women in the military. Who could possibly interpret \*authorizing payment for advanced care every 5 years or when health conditions change significantly \*as misleadingly non-voluntary? ---

This Death Panel shit is going to get a second set of legs. I flitted past Limbaugh’s radio show at lunch today, and in 5 minutes he must have used the term 20 times. Not only that but, apparently, “Obama doesn’t care about anyone but himself” and he wants to personally decide the fate of every sick person in America. I mean, fuck, who’s even got that kind of time? ---

Somewhere in the near future, a family is going to be sitting in an ICU waiting room agonizing over decisions they have to make for their loved one. They’re not going to have any idea what he would have wanted, because he was convinced that talking with his doctor about end-of-life care was part of a government plot to have him killed. On that day, I hope Sarah Palin is proud of herself. ---
