Palin says Obama would kill her baby

We have rationing now, with private healthcare. My wifes’s doctor got her approved for a stem cell transplant for scleroderma, but the “death panel” at the insurance company wouldn’t pay for it.

She’s saying that Obama’s plan would actually kill people with non-fatal conditions because they aren’t productive members of society. That is non an opinion or conjecture based on even the wildest willful misreading of the facts. It’s noting but a vicious lie. She’s a nasty piece of work, that one. Conservatives say she scares us. Goddamned right she does. Mean spirited nasty liars with a bunch of pitchfork-wielding rube followers DO scare me.

Do we really want the government in charge of our death panels? It could take weeks, or *months *before they get around to killing you.

What’s even more fun about private health insurance is that the death panels don’t necessarily agree. If you’re getting some treatment for something and you lose your job and find another one with coverage, you’ll face new rules. Of course, if you have to go with individual insurance, the death panel may not cover you in the first place.

Really, the more conflicting death panels, the better, I always say. Insurance should be a baffling ordeal.

Where’s the fun in knowing what you’ll be covered for?

Even speaking as a Canadian who likes universal health insurance, this is a pretty bad way of proving your point. Life expectancy is dependent upon a lot of things besides health care. Americans are, for instance, much likelier to be overweight and have obesity-related health problems than most of the countries above them on that list. Universal health care won’t stop people from eating Popeye’s.

Is there absolutely zero truth to what she is saying? Could her hypothetical regarding her (daughter’s) down syndrome child be true in any way?

I think the healthcare bill is a little scary in that politicians on both sides can’t be bothered to read it. Shouldn’t our elected representatives have a better understanding of this bill than they apparently do?

Flame away. Just wondering.

Perhaps a constitutional ammendment that reserves the right to form death panels exclusively for America’s private citizens?
Such a plan would certainly make slack-jawed yokelism rarer among the political class, and that would be good for the country.

Please tell me you aren’t serious.

Is there any clause in there that insists on mandatory euthanasia of healthy babies with disabilities? No.

Most never read th bills. They have a staff that pours over every detail though.

Out of curiosity: In your imagination, who wrote the bill?

Here it is. Have fun.

Dr. Jack Kervorkian, apparantly.

He’s an insurance exec now?

PORES!

Get it right, please.

Sarah Palin is a cunt.

So . . . where exactly did Palin say Obama would kill her baby?

Perhaps they’re trying to obscure the details under coffee stains.

Obviously racism. She’s saying Obama is a dingo!

The OP punctuated it wrong. Sarah was having a mandingo moment and really said Obama would kill her, baby.
