You know what would be funny - they should do a 30-Rock sendup, and cast Sarah Palin as Tina Fey. Hell, the ‘set’ of 30 Rock is actually offices in the building, and I’m sure Alec Baldwin would be in for it. It’d be a nice twist on the SNL cast always impersonating politicians. And I have a suspicion that Palin could pull it off. ---

Speaking of cartoonish pols, did you catch the Daily Show bit comparing Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman to Foghorn Leghorn and Droopy Dog? Spot on. In the same vein, I always though Reid and/or Lieberman personified Kiff of Futurama quite well. ---
