Since the Palin camp is denying, I’m betting a Coke that they announce plans to divorce by the end of the year. Also, for her future career, I’m calling televangelist. ---

It’s not true. But the speed and the glee with which it’s being repeated is interesting. Like the faked pregnancy, this will vanish and no one will own up to having believed it, even those people who posted here with no disclaimer whatsoever. No, it will just vanish away, it’s job done. ---

I think Palin is a moron, but: You guys wouldn’t accept a blogspot and the national enquirer as a cites here. Why would you quote an article that does and let them get away with it? ---

I see exactly one post in this thread that doesn’t acknowledge the possibility of it being false (aside from those simply dropping one-liners about Russia and moose pubes). Yes, there will be a vast conspiracy of silence among that one person regarding this issue… ---

The OP says “We’ll see” and “if so,” which seems to leave a pretty good defense for those who don’t “own up” to “having believed it.” Some of the frustration you must feel is that the facts just don’t sort themselves out to really support your thesis that liberals are big meanies. However, you might want to google “birthers.” ---

Though I don’t think it’s likely to change Palin’s opinion of the media, or her supporters’ opinions – the MSM did not report on the rumors, and did report on the denial. However, even Meg Stapleton’s report – which preceded any MSM coverage – already blamed the media for spreading the story. They love to play the victim card, and will allow two or three blogs serve as “the media” when they need to make the case that they are put upon. ---

Nobody did accept them as cites, by the way, but I do have to say that the National Enquirer still has more credibility than Sarah Palin, so her denial pretty much means nothing. It looks like Palin’s lawyer bitched out of his threat to serve the blogger at the kindergarten, just like he’s bitched out of every other threat to try to sue bloggers. Alaskareport is still standing by the story and says Palin’s lawyer has confirmed some details, so I’m not giving her denials any credence right now. That filthy little slut. Heh heh heh.
