We think flights and vacations are cancelled, quarantines are imposed, and all that, but food, medicine, goods, and essential travel are still getting through. Has any place tried to hermetically seal its borders, as opposed to just not letting tourists and businessmen through?

Try to seal borders and they’ll just sneak in by hang-gliders and the many tunnels west of El Paso. Or that secret tube running from Havana to Area 51. Hey, how’s the virus situation in Cuba these days?
I’m not considering cultivation when food runs out because we’re now snowed-in under two feet of whiteness in a fucking coniferr forest where anything outside a greenhouse is devoured by wildlife. Better to eat the wildlife. Deer are tame here, easily netted from our porch. And all those juicy squirrels! Time to dig out the .22, hey?
