Hey, folks. There was an update in the case yesterday. The Marathon County District Attorney has decided to charge Dale and Leilani Neumann with second-degree reckless homicide.
You can read the criminal complaint here (warning: PDF!). It’s pretty horrifying, I find, as it shows that the Neumanns did realize something was very wrong, but still decided against medical care.
I look forward to Madeline’s return to life and good health, as predicted by her parents. I always knew it would happen in Wisconsin.
Well, it’s going to be pretty difficult now that she’s been buried. There’s a shortage of caves with boulders in front of them in this state.
These stupid motherfuckers. The whole situation still makes me incandescently angry.

AGH. Those boys are from around where I live. High school boys from Dodgeville have a reputation for legendary stupidity.
