Yes, the real Paris Hilton making real lasagna. Has to be seen to be believed! (And even then you won’t believe it.) Lasagna is very simple to make. All you need is a huge and fancy kitchen, top-of-the-range pots and utensils (bought by someone else), a huge fridge crammed with top quality ingredients (shopped for by someone else), and someone to clean up afterwards. And a tiny dog dressed up in cute clothes. Paris Hilton always leaves you in doubt as to whether she’s serious or not. Personally, I think she’s a comic genius who is laughing at her own stereotype. Tips: - Use fingerless leather gloves while cooking. - Next time, buy lagsagna sheets you don’t have to boil first. It’s too much effort. - Next time, buy shredded mozzarella. It’s too much effort to grate it, and you can’t grate the block of cheese down too far because you might damage your fingernails. - If you forget to put in the onion and garlic, that’s fine. Just leave them out. Even if you brought along sunglasses to wear while chopping them. - It’s important to take a photo and tweet. I get that it’s easy to hate on Paris, but she actually does have a good business acumen. Handling the dog and going straight for the food did make me chuckle tho’. ---

For her to be a comic genius, someone else would also need to be laughing \*with \*her. I’m with the OP in that I honestly don’t get what this is supposed to be. It’s not funny [del] in any way [/del] enough to be a spoof yet it’s too incompetently done to be taken seriously. I’d think maybe it was just to get her name out there again but if it weren’t for the OP, would any of us have seen / heard about it? If nothing else, it’s kinda sorta entertaining in a circus sideshow type of way. ---

I like your explanation comparing her to Stephen Colbert and if that is indeed what she’s doing, I guess she actually is doing it well. It has never seemed that way to me but if people like it (which they obviously must), more power to her, I guess. ---

I don’t know if I’d call her a “comic genius” but she is skilled at playing up her persona for publicity hits. When was the last time you thought about Paris? It’s been years for me. Now she makes a silly video and is back in the pop culture conversation. She knows how to manipulate viewers.
