If they aren’t actually blocking you from making a detour of a few feet around the car, just relax a little.

Of course, if they seem like drug dealers/gangsters/minorities/whatever, just call the cops.

This happens all the fucking time at this particular address. And again, there was space for two cars to be legally parked in front of this house. No hydrants, 4 houses away from the corner.

The correct response is to get your shoes very muddy, then hop on the car and walk across the portion of it that covers the sidewalk you’d otherwise be walking on.

Bonus points for fresh, unset concrete.

My usual response to any parked vehicle which is blocking a pedestrian right-of-way, either a sidewalk or a cross walk, is to adjust the outside mirrors. I figure if these assholes are going to inconvenience me, than I’m going to inconvenience them.
