That’s the glorious thing about parrots! There are just so many different species to choose from! The new world parrots like Amazons and Macaws and such, the old world African parrots like lovies, Grays, etc., the old world Australasian birds like cockatiels, parakeets (which group includes a lot more than budgerigars) and cockatoos…it’s amazing the diversity of parrot species!
Right now, if I could have any bird in the world, I’d probably either have a Congo African Gray or maybe a Senegal or maybe a Pionus…GAH! Too many to choose from!
