What predates Scooby other than live action like the Hardy Boys?
I am confused, but I cannot think of a prior cartoon and I can think of many that followed. Here are a few I remember without a look up.
Josie and the pussycats, Spirit of 1776, Speed Buggy, Capt. Caveman & A teen Jeanie show.

You seem to be concerned with _shows_, while I am saying that there will be trends in _popular society_ which will be picked up by H-B and copycats, long after interest has faded in the actual trend.

Ok, gotcha.
I’ll defend Scooby a little. It was the first and even its music had a good light 60’s groove. The stories were reasonably well written the first two years.

Yeah, that effed everything up for me too. I corrected it in my mind by figuring the Foxxy Five was a band Love started after her original interracial 70’s band went out of style.

Ah, anachronism, then. I remember that episode, but two episodes after that, it was the one where Wooldoor finally hits puberty and has to learn how to masturbate.
