Ah, to hell with those pesky ‘facts’ and ‘reading primary sources’! They’ve got a nice lead-in on mankind’s hubris with an always-popular message of ‘educated types are elitist and secretly malicious’, and you just went and ruined it! Fox News . . . writer-people are reporting so that you can _decide_, not so you can learn something you hadn’t known before. The more you do of one, the less you can do of the other. ---

Let me get this straight. If I read the boards correctly, between the Mayan calendar, the LHC and the impending possibility of Palin reappearing in 2012…the world on its own is coming to an end soon? DAMN IT! You mean, my army of evil robots is all for naught? I knew I should have picked a quicker, more immediately viable and far more pragmatic plan (albeit less dramatic) of my parachuting legion of radioactive rabid racoon. ---

There is also a comment that reads “if the lhc actually destroys the earth & this page isn’t yet updated please email [mike@frantic.org](mailto:mike@frantic.org) to receive a full refund” I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get my refund. ---
