I made the mistake of trying to unpartition a HD and now the partition i was trying to combine into the C: Drive has been ‘erased’. Does anyone know of a good program for trying to recover the data?

I haven’t had to do this myself however there’s a slew of programs to recover deleted partitions.

Google for “undelete partition” and you’ll get a million alternatives. The first one I looked at has a free download (no writing, so it may show you what the full version can actually recover) and a $30 purchase price. There are doubtless shareware and freeware utilities as well.

OK, here’s a free one (GNU GPL):

Again, I don’t have personal experience with these utilities, this is just the result of two minutes browsing.

Good luck!
