_Pushes open the door with one foot and tries to ease in._ I’m late? Sorry. Stopped by QuikMart to buy some cool drinks, viands, a few grab-bags of sweets – things with a zing, y’know? Then on the way down, had a run-in with a drunk driving a Jaguar XK who thought red was the new green. Gorgeous car, wrecked by a moment’s inattention. He’ll have more than a hangover tomorrow… ---
