Anyway, now that I’ve gotten the music moving, did I tell you my Bad Beat story? So there I am, sitting in the BB at the Thursday SDMB poker tourney. I’m short-stacked at about 10x the BB, so I’m getting desperate. **Robot Arm** opens UTG by raising. Action folds around to the hero seat when **Duke of Rat** goes in over the top. I peak down at my cards to see… AA. I know things aren’t going to get any better, so I go all-in. Well, **Robot Arm** jumps in with a quick call, and **Duke** calls as well. Both of them are big stacked, so my little action is not scaring them. The flop comes out J 6 3 rainbow. I’m thinking I’m golden, when **Robot Arm** goes all in, getting an immediate call from the **Duke**. **Robot** then re-raises, and **Duke** goes all-in, which is called. They both flip, showing 72o! Both of them claim they have a sudden family emergency and have to leave! I’m thinking, ‘Sweet! I’m tripling up!’ Of course, the turn and river go runner runner 4 5, and the two guys TRYING to lose, chop my stack, and I’m out on my ass. So, how was your Thursday night? ---

Me and some friends bought a pavilion and charged people to come in. The inside was fogged up with fine droplets of “medicine” that would cure their allergies. The spray was a total scam, though: it was just menthol-scented water. We kept it up for three months. Man, those were good times. Daniel ---
