Well, I’m feeling pretty down tonight, so I feel like sending out some hugs to some of my friends. Hugs to **Brunetter** for many, many different reasons…way too many to list here, but they all mean a lot to me. Hugs to **AudreyK** for being such a great friend in so many ways! We might not meet this summer, but we will soon enough, darlin. Hugs to **Scotti** for being my friend and for being there for me…especially at times when I really needed someone. Hugs to **saph** , who is pretty dang cool. Hugs to **mega the roo** , who is also dang cool. Hugs to **Silver Fire** , whose coolness is way up there…even if she does listen to Britney Spears at times. 😉 Finally last, but definitely not least, more hugs to **Medea’s Child** …just because. ---

I’m here today to offer hugs to **Diane** , who has been extremely kind to me, and who has been supportive in the past when I needed someone to vent to. (I don’t correspond with you enough via e-mail, Diane, and that’s a shame. I’d like to rectify this. I also offer same to **Katisha** for no other reason than she wants to teach Shakespeare. **That** deserves more than a hug, but this is a family message board (besides, I don’t know her well, and a “pre-emptory hug” is all I have the “balls” for) And now a brief hijack: I have a former friend who I dare not offer even a **cyber hug** for, such is the extent we’ve fallen out. Very recently, I’ve heard that she’s been feeling very despondent. Even to the point of having some suicidal feelings/leanings. While I’m hoping this is “just venting” (for all I know, she’s “over it” by now), I would be remiss if I did not express my deep and sincere concern. If you’re reading this, and I suspect you will be, I humbly **beg** you: _do no harm to yourself_. Your life is not a waste, you have many friends here and in real life (more than myself, in both cases). All of whom would be saddened and lessened should any evil befall you. Even one such as myself who is now a target for your scorn would be greatly saddened by your misfortune. I had rather you villify me for daring to address you, against your express wishes, than contemplate harm to yourself. At a very tender age, you’ve gladdened the hearts of many who’ve known you: there are those of us who’ve lived twice as long as you who don’t make the world half as much a better place. Be well. End of hijack. To avoid ending on such a down note, I’ll offer renewed hugs to everyone I addressed in my first post. ---
