The most immediate consequence, **English** , is that our bad guy could post with your username and say all sorts of things that you would just as soon not have associated with your good name. There’s a possibly bigger consequence. Even though they know they shouldn’t some people use just one or a few passwords at various places on the net. So if you use your old SD password at another message board, or at ebay or whatever, you’ll want to change those, too. ---

Password changed. Oops. Wow. Freak. I hit ‘Post Reply’ and usually I go straight to the post site. This time the board said I wasn’t logged in and I had to login. I do not stay logged in and have to type my password each time I post. Gonna test again and see if the same thing comes up. 🙂 ---

But how do we know he’s really manhattan? I mean, it _could_ be some desperado moseyin’ into town, accessin’ manhattan’s account with a password purchased south of the border, and handing out sound advice. Right?
