Pat just went on and on and on about the possibilities of a natural disaster in Dover, something to the effect of (I’m paraphrasing, but as closely as I can remember): “So just think, if you have a tornado or an earthquake or a flood, don’t ask for God’s help… I’m not saying He’s going to send a natural disaster, that’s His decision, but if He does you have no right to ask Him for help because you kicked Him out of your schools.” Pat, baby, GOD IS NOT YOUR PERSONAL LUCA BRAZI! The fact that _not one time_ have you accurately called a natural disaster before it happened (and in fact you predicted hurricanes would hit Orlando in the one year when Florida had almost no major hurricane damage) would, one would think, give you this clue. And how odd is it that God is most likely to send natural disasters to places that are naturally prone to them (hence the **NATURAL** qualifier? If a hurricane bypassed the coast and struck Dover, Pennsylvania, even **I** , agnostic as I am, would take notice, or if an earthquake tore down the gay nightclubs in 12 cities on the same day perhaps, but… What can you say about this shitbag that hasn’t been said before? Meanwhile, if anybody sells disaster insurance in Dover, I think it’s safe to keep on selling. ---

A preacher who advocates assassination and tells people “don’t turn to God.” I’m starting to think the whole “Pat Robertson” character has been a long, long Andy Kaufman style performance art setup. Close to the end of his life he’ll break character and gasp “suckers!” on his deathbed. ---

Robertson and his ilk are proof of the **non** -existance of God, IMHO. No sane, just, loving God would permit fuckwits of this order to sully His/Her/It’s name for this long. ---

Is it possible Robertson is suffering from some kind of (recent) dementia? Or has he always said stuff like this? Even beyond the fact that he called for assassination, his claims later that he wasn’t talking about assassination (when there was no possible to parse what he said to NOT mean that) seems to indicate diminished capacity. ---
