I never get the argument that climate scientists are somehow cooking the books “for their own ends”. Being a climate scientist is not exactly a lucrative gig, so I just don’t get what their own ends are. You know how a credentialed climate scientist could make a shit ton of money? By claiming that climate change is NOT happening. They would be the darling of the right and the fossil fuel industry and make money hand over fist. ---
