# Pathways to a Trump presidency

Well, no. We can’t fairly call anyone a talented politician based on electoral success alone, but on success **in office.** In Trump’s case we have as yet no basis to judge, and I hope we never will.

Trump’s best chance is for him to win the nomination on the first ballot, and then for the Dem nominee to have a stroke; heart attack, or other major health issue a few days before the general election. No time to replace the Dem candidate = Trump wins. (America loses, but that wasn’t the question)
